www.FoodMattersMovie.com presents Bill Maher injecting his humor while squarely confronting the ridiculous dilemma allowing the pharmaceutical companies to influence the “health” system and program much of the population to “a pill for every ill” – driving health epidemics, side-effects, deaths and dependency on more reliance on the very sources that are largely responsible for health statistics that would have seemed impossibly dire just a generation ago. An awakening is occurring now. Knowledge is power. Self responsibility is returning. The shocking truth and powerful, yet simple solutions are right before us. The one movie that EVERYONE needs to see in 2009 – www.FoodMattersMovie.com – ONLINE HD VIEWING of the entire movie now available, as well as discounted DVD.

@putittogether Wow, except for the ‘by law’ bit, that sounds exactly what we have right now!?!?!

we’re ranked 37th in quality healthcare….yet the amount of money spent on healthcare in the US is 50% more than that of any other industrialized nation. its quite sad.

@mbleek2001 LOL , so weird, I was thinking about that specific quote on a commercial yesterday and I was thinking to myself, “Diet and exercise should always work, I mean even if it doesn’t make you feel great RIGHT away you shouldn’t be trying to get a magic pill.”

when diet and exercise don’t work. is the biggest lie i ever heard. But what can I say America likes the easy way.

America’s health system ranks 37th in the world right now, just ahead of Morocco. Your insurance corporations already decide who and what gets covered. Universal health care isn’t perfect but it’s a whole lot better than the U.S. ‘system’, and your national health is deplorable!!

this is truly great

We’re already forced to do that in Massachusetts. It’s mandatory to have health insurance here (to control costs of the uninsured getting medical care…) Two years after this happened however, we’re still having double digit increases in our insurance costs, and I’d like to know who’s watching the effects??? Business is responsible for good results or they go out of business. Government is responsible for good intentions, regardless of result. ‘we meant well.’
Small government is the only way

National Health Care:
You will be forced by law, to give your hard earned money, to an insurance corporation whom will decide what they will cover and not cover.
Oh, and Congress will look out for you and protect you from the insurance corporation, with good laws. Yea right.

99% of our ills can be cured by exercise and diet. People are starting to learn this, but more must be educated, and what better way to educate than humor? Great clip!
