I drank tons of milk when I was young and no prob I was thin and muscular. I stopped drinking milk and ate burgers. The buns gave me diabetes. For me… milk is the perfect food. For you.. maybe not.
I have abbreviated but I’ve been thru every diet. Every person has different foods that are best for them. If your pancreas has to constantly adjust your PH then it may get overworked. I should probably stick to alkaline food because my body is acidic.

I have a deviated septum. I tend not to breathe enough. I have become very capable in an anaerobic environment.
My body adapted. I make more ATP then most in an anaerobic enviro.
Going from a heavy carb diet to a heavy protein diet and vice versa hurts temporarily. We are omnivores. Sometimes ppl 4get.

@BellaaMarlene From what I understand, acid fruits do not necessarily mean they will make your body acid. They have an alkalizing effect on the body, despite being acidic fruits. Take care and best of health to you.

One of the ways our body compensates for acidic blood is to breath more air. The opposite is also true. If the blood is too alkaline, our breathing will slow down, retaining the carbon dioxide. How we breath during various quantities of exercise will have an effect on our blood balance because of its relationship to carbon dioxide. Though I wouldn’t be want to breath smog, so I get your point.

I started an alkaline diet 3 days ago, its about 50% alkaline diet so its a gradual change. I feel better already, especially in the mornings. The problem is i think i’m gonna lose weight if i keep up this diet too much and i’m already thin.

she specifically says which grains, and gives the reasons that they are basic (alkaline) and that the quinoa and buckwheat can be sprouted and eaten raw. what is weird about a raw chef promoting healthy raw, sprouted grains?
