@ladycynaptic This is definitely far from irrelevant, nor is it a topic that takes away from Joy’s relevance. Taking a stand in favor of people that should love themselves seems to be part her human relevance. This is a beautiful thing that is being done because she is encouraging people that are fat to embrace their beauty and stand up for themselves while taking care of themselves. Her whole point is that being fat does not automatically mean that you have health problems, and you missed it.

Why are you spending your one life complaining about things that really don’t matter.? I ran across your videos by accident, but it just struck a nerve. Why not talk about something that makes you relevant as a human being versus talking about your weight? The people who really “care” are the people making excuses… whether anorexic or COE. If someone actually has a problem, why encourage them to not do something about it. You could present things in a different way.

@sarkerm2 Yeah, because all skinny people east healthily to earn their figures? We ALL know someone who eats crap all day and doesn’t gain a pound. There are also plenty of people who eat balanced, healthy diets and exercise but whose physiques are nowhere near as trim as the aforementioned thin people. Thin people can develop health problems through their weight or diet too.
IT IS NOT OK to treat heavier people like shit, even if you think it’s “for their own good”.

My freshman year of high school, a boy told me I’d be really pretty if I lost some weight (I was about 130 pounds at the time) that was what finally pushed me to become anorexic and I couldn’t kick the habit until the year was almost over. It was the worst time ever.
The beginning of this video almost made me cry.
